back in april, my best girl, jaclyn and ava came to visit us. i was beyond excited for this visit. i hadn't seen jac in too long and will and ava have always been fast friends. before their visit, will, molly and i poured over pictures of the two of them. once molly got the hang of who they were (she was too little last time she saw them, so she didn't remember) she started talking about what we were going to do with them while they were here. molly had the whole visit planned out. i'll give anyone who knows molly one guess where we had to go first.

first up were the polar bears. i was not impressed with their performance while ava and jac were visiting. they are normally a fun, giggly time. throwing their bones in the water and diving after them, tossing the ball back and forth. todays visit.

the next series of pictures are all of one person. i didn't realize it but i didn't take any pictures of the show after her. she is "marina." she is queen of all the world. especially the dolphin world. this, according to miss m, of course. no one will ever really understand the depth of obsession molly has for this girl because you'd have to be me or jeremy, here with molly every day. she talks about her from the second she gets up till she goes to bed. she dreams about her. she wants everyone she knows to see her. she wants to meet her (and yes, I have actually considered trying to figure out a way to make that happen). she wants to be her. when she grows up, molly wants to swim with the dolphins, "just like marina."
kind of funny that an "actress" would suddenly fall asleep in the middle of the show, huh? well, blue horizons is loosely based on the nutcracker...so marina is "dreaming" all this with the dolphins. the dolphins suddenly decided she needed a little extra sleep b/c they stopped following the trainers commands and wouldn't go back behind the gates. hence the show had to be "paused" until the dolphins started listening again. so marina falling asleep is kind of the signal that the show isn't continuing the way it's supposed to.
up and running again.
see that tutu on marina? that is half the obsession for molly. for some reason she absolutely adores that tutu. (and no i don't think it's really a tutu, but that's what it is to molly.)
and that's it. that is all the pictures i took while jaclyn and ava visited!!!! i haven't looked at these pics in awhile...i'm so shocked and sad. i guess i just didn't take my camera with us. regardless i am so thankful for their trip, so thankful for visiting with them. i miss my girl jaclyn every day. some day when we have unlimited funds (ha!) i will be flying to see her whenever i can.
